This one of a kind tour will guide you through the magnificent landscapes of Hardanger. Explore fjords, waterfalls and national treasures with two ferry cruises, Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, Hardangerfjorden, National Tourist Route, Hardanger Bridge, Voss municipality and Viewpoint Vøringsfossen waterfall. Norwegian- and English Speaking guide will drive you in our high class Mercedes minibus, giving you the best comfort and views on this trip. Get ready to experience Hardanger and one of the greatest waterfalls in Norway, Vøringsfossen.

You will be up close to the fjords of Hardanger alongside the appletree roads, with two ferry cruises included. Not only will you be seeing the famous Vøringsfossen, but also the beautiful Steinsdalfossen in Norheimsund. The perfect day trip for a memorable and breathtaking tour in Western Norway.

The tour starts by minibus at the Tourist Information in Bergen, where we will see one of Norway's most visited waterfalls, Steinsdalsfossen in Norheimsund. It is well known for the possibility of going under the waterfall without being wet. Steinsdalsfossen has a drop of 50 meters, but up close it looks like so much more because of how close you can see it's natural powers. This is the perfect spot to take some photos!
Then we move on to Tørvikbygd dock, for a ferry ride over to Jondal. We will then officially enter Hardanger, and see the first apple trees right away. We can't even describe how amazing it is to watch nature unfold along the road, and the landscape surroundings just have to be seen with your own eyes.

Further we will drive the road between Jondal and Utne, which has been designated as the Hardanger National Tourist Route. This means that the country has named this particular road as one of the best sights in Hardanger. It’s no secret that Hardanger is like a picture postcard, and almost everywhere you look you will be feasting your eyes on fjords, thundering waterfalls or fruit trees in bloom. Hardanger is well known for their dramatic landscapes of mountains, glaciers, waterfalls and of course fjords. This has attracted both tourists and artists throughout the years. The people of Hardanger have been growing fruit since the 1300th century. After this spectacular scenery, we continue to our next ferry ride through the Hardangerfjord from Utne to Kvandal.

  • High quality minibus with capacity of max 20 persons.

  • It is also possible to book the car only for your family or group. Prices upon request.

Next up after the ferry is the famous Hardanger Bridge. On our way past the big mountains, we will drive through the Vallavik Tunnel, which has an underground roundabout inside the tunnel with blue lightning scenery. This will lead us onto Norway’s long suspension bridge, “Hardangerbrua”. This bridge connects the tunnels on each side, and you drive directly from the tunnel and onto the bridge. Its single-span 1,310-meter length makes it the world’s 16th longest! The view is just breathtaking over this bridge, while we continue our journey towards The Norway Nature Center in Eidfjord. The Center’s objective is to gather and spread knowledge about the interplays in nature and highlighting the relations between nature and human activity. Here we will eat lunch, and you can buy delicious local dishes.

This tour saves the best for last, with a panoramic view of Norway's biggest attraction in waterfalls, Vøringsfossen. The best-known waterfall in Norway. It has a water plunge of 182 m from the Hardangervidda plateau into the Måbødalen valley. You will see the majestic waterfall from viewing platforms above Vøringsfossen, giving this a panoramic view. The platforms are near Fossli Hotel, 1 km from route 7 Norwegian Scenic Route Hardangervidda. From the viewing platforms and from the bridge crossing the waterfall canyon, you can watch the water tumbling off the mountain plateau, as well as the spectacular views of the dramatic Måbødalen valley.

We will return to Bergen through Voss municipality and take another route so you can experience even more on this tour. Voss is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, forests, lakes and fast-flowing whitewater rivers. This has led to its development as a notable center of skiing, water sports, skydiving, paragliding and other adventure sports. The minibus will make a stop here before we head back to the tourist information in Bergen for arrival.
